Blue Hens Fourth, Lee 11th After First Day of North Florida Collegiate

The Blue Hens posted team scores of 306 and 299 for a two-round total of 605 during the first day of the tournament, behind only Houston at 594, Texas at 600, and Samford at 604.
Lee carded a pair of three over par 75 rounds on the par 72, 6,050-yard course at Jacksonville Golf and Country Club, finishing with Delaware's low score of the day at six over par. Playing as an individual, Vimonthip Benjasupawan is tied for 13th place with a seven over par 73-78-151.
Andi Slane, who carded a 79-73-152, and Amanda Terzian, who fired a 78-74-152, are each tied for 18th place at eight over par. Nathalie Filler shot a 78-77-155 while Grace Chua carded a 77-78-155 as both Blue Hens finished the day at 11 over par and tied for 32nd place. Vitoria Teixeira is tied for 45th place after her 13 over par day of 75-82-157.The third and final round of the tournament will take place on Tuesday with a shotgun start beginning at 8:30 a.m.
