SERIES INFORMATION
· Since the first meeting in 1983, William & Mary leads the all-time series against Delaware, 11-9.
· The Blue Hens have won three straight over the Tribe.
· Last season, UD defeated W&M, 14-8, in Newark as Chelsea Fay tied a Delaware Stadium record with a career-best seven points on three goals and a career-high and stadium record four assists.
· During the last matchup in Williamsburg, the Hens edged W&M, 12-11, on April 8, 2012.
· Hillary Fratzke (Towson '10) is in her second season as the head coach of the Tribe.
ABOUT WILLIAM & MARY
The Tribe returns home for the weekend following three consecutive games on the road. W&M has lost four of its last five decisions. The Tribe currently leads the CAA with 17.4 groundballs per game, while it ranks second in draw controls per game (12.5) and third in caused turnovers per (7.8). Individually, freshman Abby Corkum guides W&M with 32 points on 15 goals and 17 assists while senior Ellen Shaffrey has totaled 31 points on 28 goals and three assists along with 43 draw controls. Defensively, sophomore Abby Junior and senior Allison Henry are averaging 1.8 and 1.5 caused turnovers per game, respectively.
