The Tribe outshot the Blue Hens by a 21-11 margin and had a 4-2 advantage on corner kicks. Delaware goalkeeper Kailyn Rekos kept the Blue Hens in the game with 11 saves, one shy of her season-high.
The Tribe got on the board just 98 seconds into the game when they were credited with an own goal when William & Mary sent the ball into the box and an errant clear by the Delaware defender sent the ball into the Blue Hen goal.
