Scott Grzenda, whose team dropped a 1-0 decision at Towson Friday night. “It's always hard when you are on the road but we had a great response and we are glad to be heading back home next weekend. “JMU is a very good team and I hope we get to see them again in the playoffs.”

James Madison, which outshot the Hens 15-8 for the game and had a 10-6 advantage in the first half, jumped out to the 2-0 lead in the first half thanks to a goal by Haley Crawford 11:34 into the match and another from Ashley Herndon with just 2:01 to go before halftime.

Delaware cut the margin to 2-1 when Zelenky scored an unassisted goal after taking a long pass, escaping through traffic, and delivering a 15-yard shot into the nets. The Dukes then wrapped up the win on a goal by Claire Meiser with 2:09 left.

HEN SCRATCHINGS:
• Zelenky now leads the team with four goals and has scored one in four of the last six games and has netted a point in six of the last eight outings. She ranks No. 8 all-time at Delaware with 23 career goals
• Delaware goalkeeper Kailyn Rekos continued to climb the UD chart for goalkeeper saves as she made six Sunday to up her season total to 80 and her career mark to 176, moving her into No. 6 on the all-time UD list past Bonnie Mills (173 in 2003-06)
• Delaware is one of three CAA teams without a tie this year (JMU and William & Mary are the others). The Hens have gone 19 games without a tie since a 1-1 deadlock vs. Towson on Oct. 4, 2015
