“When you get to March Madness, it's all about the adrenaline, following game plans and making adjustments. Elon kids played their hearts out. Delaware kids played their hearts out. And in the earlier game, the College of Charleston and JMU kids played their hearts out. The games are going to be like this. Kids are competing the hardest they can and all four of these schools today should be proud of the show their student-athletes put on. Our kids did not want to go home, they had the will and desire to win the basketball game. I'm so proud of this team; they showed their resiliency and fight. They stuck together and listened throughout the game. You have to give it to Elon and congratulate them on a great year. They have great players and they're a physical and veteran team.”
Redshirt Sophomore Sadé Chatman
“We never stopped trying and we could've because we got down by a lot. We knew we just had to keep fighting back. We knew we could do it and we needed to just put the plan into action.”
Freshman Nicole Enabosi
“It was very nerve-wracking [to play in first CAA Tournament game], but as the game went on, I was able to settle in and play my game. We had to play smart defense today and w couldn't get cheap fouls in the post.”
