WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.Va. -- The University of Delaware men's golf team sits in seventh place while sophomore Blaine Lafferty is tied for 11th place following Monday's action at the Greenbrier Collegiate Invitational.

The Blue Hens posted rounds of 290 and 295 on Monday to end the day in seventh place out of 17 teams with a 585 total. East Tennessee State leads the field with a 567 score, followed by Western Kentucky at 576 and Eastern Kentucky at 578.

Lafferty is tied for 11th place in the individual standings with a three over par 68-75-143 on the par 70, 7,287-yard Old White TPC Golf Course. Kyle Martin is tied for 24th place with a six over par 74-72-146, while Kieran Purcell carded a seven over par 76-71-147 to end the day tied for 30th place.

Mark Benevento is tied for 48th place with a nine over par 72-77-149, while Jack Gianniny recorded a 31 over par 86-85-171 to finish Monday's action in 88th place.

Gudmund Kristjansson of ETSU and Stuart Easton of Western Kentucky are each tied for the tournament lead at two under par.

The final round of the invitational will begin at 9 a.m. on Tuesday with a shotgun start.
