Jamie Schwartz Tabbed CAA Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week

RICHMOND, Va. – Delaware junior Jamie Schwartz (Ellicott City, Md./Mt. Hebron) was named as the CAA Player of the Week, as announced by the conference Monday morning.
Schwartz led the Blue Hens (11-6, 3-3 CAA) to a 2-0 weekend by piling up 10 points on seven assists and three goals.
On Friday evening, the attacker posted a goal and tied a career-high with four assists as the Delaware handed James Madison its only conference loss of the season by a score of 12-8.
She followed on Sunday with two goals and three assists in a 17-7 win over William & Mary. Schwartz also totaled three ground balls and a caused turnover in the two matches.
Schwartz guides UD with a career-best 29 goals and is second for the Hens with 16 assists and 45 points.
Schwartz shared Player of the week accolades with Elon's Maeve Cowley while Rachel Ramirez (Elon) was named Defensive Player of the Week and Natalie Sulmonte (Towson) was the Rookie of the Week.
Delaware has completed regular season action and awaits its fate for the upcoming CAA Tournament once conference finishes play this coming weekend.
