Patty Post, is coming off a highly successful campaign that saw the Blue Hens claim two titles including the CAA Championship, and advance to the NCAA Bryan (Tex.) Regional.
The Blue Hens return four letterwinners this season including senior Vitoria Teixeira, who averaged 78.86 shots per round while competing in seven tournaments last year. Sophomores Valentina Mueller, who posted a 79.88 average round, and Ashley Dingman, who averaged 80.00 shots per round, also return after both players participated in six invitationals. Senior Grace Chua is also back after she averaged 80.90 strokes per round while competing in seven tournaments during the 2015-16 campaign.
“Our fall schedule really suits our team,” said Post. “We have been playing Rutgers, Princeton and our home event for four years now, and our course knowledge will really help our younger girls get a jumpstart. We will return to Penn State again this year after having a solid showing there last year. We added a trip out west to the University of Denver to challenge us a bit against a very strong field. We are very excited for the upcoming season.”
