Delaware Golfer Jack Gianniny Finishes Fourth at John H. Ryan Jr. Memorial

ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- University of Delaware men's golfer Jack Gianniny finished in fourth place last week at the John H. Ryan Jr. Memorial Championship.
Gianniny (Rochester, N.Y./Pittsford Sutherland) fired a six over par 69-79-73-73-294 on the par 72 course at Ridgemont Country Club last Wednesday through Saturday, placing fourth out of the 39 golfers who made the cut.
Gianniny, who will be a junior at Delaware this fall, competed in nine tournaments for the Blue Hens in 2015-16, ranking fourth on the team with a 75.88 stroke average. He led UD with three top-10 finishes and five top-20 finishes on the year, and earned medalist honors at the Binghamton Fall Invitational while leading Delaware to the team title. He fired a four under par 65-75-140 in Binghamton, while his opening round 65 tied for the second lowest round in school history.
