Blue Hen Women's Golfer Grace Chua Named WGCA All-American Scholar

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. -- University of Delaware rising senior Grace Chua was named a Women's Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar on Tuesday.
Chua, a native of White Rock, British Columbia (Semiahmoo Secondary School), is an outstanding student who carries a 3.989 grade point average as a finance major. She was named a WGCA All-American Scholar for the second consecutive year, and has represented Delaware on the CAA All-Academic Team in each of the last two springs.
Chua competed in seven tournaments for Delaware this year, averaging 80.90 shots per round and recording her top finish at the Rutgers Invitational by tying for 24th place. She also tied for 29th place at the CAA Tournament and competed for the Blue Hens at the NCAA Bryan (Tex.) Regional. Chua has appeared in 22 invitationals through her first three years at UD, while her 79.97 stroke average is currently the sixth lowest in school history.
