Scott Grzenda. “Georgetown has some outstanding attacking players and they showed their quality. We had some very good periods in the game when we played outstanding soccer. Now we just need to put 90 minutes together.”Georgetown's Grace Damaska recorded the hat trick for the Hoyas as she scored the game's first goal just 3:14 in stake her team to a 1-0 lead at halftime. Her second goal 5:47 into the second half upped the lead to 2-0 and her tally just 16 minutes later put the score at 3-0. Marina Paul finished the scoring on a goal with 17:27 left to play.
HEN SCRATCHINGS:
• Delaware fell to 0-3 for the first time since the 2013 season
• Delaware returns to action on Sunday when the Hens host Saint Joseph's at 3 p.m. for the home opener at Grant Stadium
• The hat trick was the second against the Hens so far this season as Villanova's Ida DiClemente scored three times in the opener last Friday
• Georgetown now leads the series 6-0 after also downing UD 2-0 last season in Newark.
