Patty Post announced the squad's 2017 spring slate on Tuesday.
Delaware opens its campaign once again at the Edwin Watts/Kiawah Island Classic at Kiawah Island (S.C.) Resort on Feb. 26-28, before competing in the North Florida Collegiate on Mar. 6-7 at the Jacksonville (Fla.) Golf and Country Club.
The Blue Hens will participate in the William & Mary Intercollegiate at Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Va. on Mar. 27-28, and will head back to Florida for the Web.com Intercollegiate at Marsh Landing Country Club in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. on Apr. 3-4.
The regular season concludes at the Colonial Athletic Association Championship at St. James Plantation in Southport, N.C. on Apr. 14-16. The Blue Hens will be looking to defend their league title after claiming their first CAA championship last spring.
Delaware is looking to build on its fall campaign that saw the Blue Hens post three top-five finishes and capture the team title at the season-opening Rutgers Invitational. Freshman Ariane Klotz recorded three top-10 finishes and led UD with a 75.27 average round, while senior Vitoria Teixeira added a pair of top-10 finishes and ranked second on the team with a 76.70 stroke average. Valentina Mueller (76.87 average round), Grace Chua (78.27) and Ashley Dingman (78.33) also competed in all five tournaments during the fall for the Blue Hens.
