Blue Hens Open 2017 Spring Season at Kiawah Island Spring Classic

Patty Post, finished among the top five in three of their five fall tournaments, including a first place finish at the Rutgers Invitational on Oct. 16-17. Freshman Ariane Klotz leads the team with a 75.27 stroke average and three top 10 finishes, while Vitoria Teixeira ranks second on the squad with a 76.60 average round and a pair of top 10 finishes.
Valentina Mueller (76.87 average round), Grace Chua (78.27) and Ashley Dingman (78.33) also competed in all five tournaments last fall for the Blue Hens.
The tournament is the first of five invitationals this spring for Delaware, which will also compete in the North Florida Collegiate in Jacksonville, Fla. on Mar. 6-7 and the William & Mary Intercollegiate in Williamsburg, Va. on Mar. 27-28. The Blue Hens will play in the Jacksonville Web.com Intercollegiate in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. on Apr. 3-4, before concluding the season at the CAA Championship at Ford's Colony CC in Williamsburg, Va. on Apr. 14-16.
