Blue Hens Look To Defend Title This Weekend at CAA Women’s Golf Championship

Andi Slane claimed her second consecutive individual crown with a two over par 218, while Nathalie Filler finished in third place at 12 over par.
UD freshman Ariane Klotz leads the Blue Hens with a 75.15 average round this season, and has posted a team-high four top 10 finishes on the year. Vitoria Teixeira ranks second on the team by averaging 76.42 shots per round, while Valentina Mueller is third on the squad with a 76.46 average round.
Ashley Dingman (77.73) and Grace Chua (78.08) have also competed in all nine tournaments for the Blue Hens, while Josefina Fernandez-Davila (78.08) has participated in all but one.
Delaware has recorded five top five finishes during its nine tournaments this year, and won the Rutgers Invitational team title on Sept. 16-17. The Blue Hens are the second ranked team at the CAA Championship, behind only Charleston.
