HOW WE HATCHED 🐔
The Blue Hens dedicate their season to those who have inspired them to play and grow the game of lacrosse. On Friday we will honor Mike DeRuggiero, father of freshman Mia DeRuggiero, and Kevin Rausa, father of fellow freshman Sydney Rausa, who are both considered their number one fans and supporters. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to compete today and, with the support of our alumnae, families, and friends, the opportunity to travel abroad this summer to grow the game in Switzerland! Help support a learning experience of a lifetime here.
LAST TIME OUT
A second half scoring draught proved to be the difference Sunday afternoon as #rv Elon slipped past Delaware, 6-3, at Rudd Field. Tied 3-3 with just over 22 minutes remaining in the contest, the Phoenix (10-5, 2-2 CAA) scored three unanswered goals to hand the Blue Hens (7-6, 2-1 CAA) their first league loss of the season. Junior goalie Taylor Carpentier registered a career game with 17 saves and a .739 save percentage while allowing the six goals.
