Andi Slane won the 2015 and 2016 CAA individual titles and Ariane Klotz was selected the 2017 CAA Rookie of the Year. Six Blue Hens have earned all-conference honors under Post, who was selected the 2014 LPGA Teaching and Club Professional Northeast Coach of the Year and then National Coach of the Year in the fall of 2014.
“This is a special opportunity to oversee the men's and women's golf teams and the future of the golf programs at the University of Delaware,” commented Post. “Investing in our staff is a crucial part of providing our student-athletes on both teams the best possible coaching and player development while at Delaware. We strive to make ourselves and our players better every day.”
Keogh, who served as head coach of the UD men's team for the past 16 years in a part-time role, will take over full-time assistant coach and recruiting duties with both programs. The 2015 CAA Men's Golf Coach of the Year, Keogh has led the Blue Hens to 130 top-10 finishes and 16 team titles, including this year's season-opening Colgate/Alex Lagowitz Memorial Invitational. Keogh has coached two conference tournament champions and NCAA Tournament participants during his tenure, as Justin Martinson claimed the 2010 CAA title while Greg Matthias captured the 2012 league crown.
Brendon Post has been a part-time assistant coach with the UD women's team during all six years in the history of the program. During his tenure the Blue Hens have recorded 51 top 10-team finishes, including eight team titles. He has helped coach six All-CAA honorees, including first team selections Slane in 2015 and Klotz in 2017.
Patty and Brendon Post are a married couple. As such, in accordance with University policy, Brendon Post will report directly to John Krimmel, Associate Director of Athletics.
