Delaware Continues Success on Day Two of SJU Invitational

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – On a day that featured just singles action, the Blue Hens picked up nine victories as part of the Saint Joseph's Invitational.
Senior Amanda Studnicki (Normal, Ill./Normal West) and juniors Annie Jaskulski (Wilmington, Del./Friends) and Sarah Hall (West Orange, N.J./Mount Saint Dominic Academy) led the way with two wins each.
In Flight 3 action, Studnicki first registered the 6-1, 6-4 decision over Bucknell's Rachel Carroll before defeating Mary Washington's Brittany McBride, 6-1, 6-2.
Jaskulski topped Sara Fioretti (Mary Washington), 6-2, 6-0 and Madison Chontos (Saint Joseph's), 6-1, 6-1 in Flight 4.
Also in the fourth flight, Hall cruised to the 6-0, 6-0 triumph against La Salle's Maansi Malhotra before pulling out the hard-fought, come-from-behind 6-7, 7-6, 10-8 win over Drexel's Marta Martinez.
