HEN SCRATCHINGS 🐔
• Delaware closes outs a three-game homestand tonight against local rival Towson at the Bob Carpenter Center.
• The Blue Hens are looking to snap a four-game losing skid, including two straight home losses.
• Delaware fell to Hofstra, 64-59, Saturday night despite leading for nearly 33 minutes.
• Eric Carter notched his sixth double-double of the season by leading the team with 16 points and 12 rebounds. He currently is tied for fourth in the CAA in double-doubles.
• Carter also ranks third in the league with 8.9 rebounds per game, fourth with 6.7 defensive rebounds per game, and sixth with 2.2 offensive rebounds per game.
• Ryan Allen added 11 points, reaching double figures for the seventh game in a row. Allen has made a three-pointer in each of the first 20 games of his career, tied for the fifth longest streak in UD history.
• Skye Johnson played a season-high 22 minutes vs. the Pride, and tied his season-best by scoring 10 points on the night.
• Delaware leads the all-time series with Towson, 44-34, but the Tigers have won the last four meetings between the schools.
• The Blue Hens are 29-11 against Towson in Newark, although the Tigers have taken the last two contests in the Bob Carpenter Center.
• UD played its first game without Ryan Daly, who is expected to miss three weeks with a sprained left ankle.
