POST-GAME QUOTES
Head Coach Rolf van de Kerkhof
"Our win today is a direct result of great teamwork and execution of game plan. As a program we understood the importance of today's game as the winner would punch a ticket for the CAA Tournament and would be atop the CAA standings after the weekend. Our performance today also allowed us to finish up another 2-0 weekend, something we have been focusing in on as part of post season mindset as we want to 'advance' our season with another opportunity to compete for Delaware Pride."
"As a program we are looking forward to returning home for our final regular season and CAA competitions. Over the weekend, as a team and program, we look forward to showing our appreciation to our student-athletes' academic advisors and faculty during our Academic Thanksgiving on Friday, enjoying UDFH Family Weekend events with as highlight our Family Game on Saturday, celebrating the 30th anniversary of field hockey's 1988 East Coast Conference championship team Saturday and Sunday, and honoring our seniors on Senior Day Sunday. Thanks to our wins over Towson and William & Mary, we will now also be in the position to compete for the CAA Regular Season Championship versus Northeastern and Hofstra. We hope to welcome many of our Blue Hen friends and fans to cheer us on, enjoy and experience all the events making the University of Delaware Field Hockey Program special."
