Delaware Grabs Four Wins at Penn Invitational

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Blue Hens picked up four wins Friday as part of the first day of the Penn Invitational.
Delaware captured three doubles victories and one singles win during its second weekend of fall action.
On the doubles' side, freshman Tayo Adetunji and senior Sarah Hall came away with the 7-6 (2) decision over Drexel's Salma Ziouti and Mya Fuentes.
Sophomore Sarah Whited and senior Draga Sabotic topped Drexel's Anisyia Simpson and Cristina Corte, 6-4, while senior Annie Jaskulski and freshman Caragh Courtney posted the same score over Temple's Chunan Xiang and Yining Tian.
In singles play, Hall held on for the 6-2, 6-7 (3), 10-6 victory over the Quakers' Jennifer Richards.
