Becky Gohsler Garners CAA Player of the Week Accolades

RICHMOND, Va. – Blue Hens senior captain Becky Gohsler (Mendham, N.J./West Morris Mendham) was named the CAA Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week Tuesday, as announced by the league.
The midfielder collected eight draw controls, nine ground balls, four caused turnovers and four goals as Delaware split the week against Monmouth and Georgetown.
In Wednesday's victory over Monmouth, Gohsler tallied a career-high seven draw controls to go along with two goals, one assists, three ground balls and two caused turnovers.
At Georgetown Sunday, she picked up a career-high six ground balls with two goals and two caused turnovers.
Gohsler guides the Hens (2-3) with 22 draw controls and 12 caused turnovers and is second with 13 ground balls, nine points and three assists. Her 2.4 caused turnovers are good for 14th nationally.
Delaware travels to Buffalo, N.Y. for a 4 p.m. draw Friday at Canisius.
