Delaware Named IWLCA Academic Honor Squad; Five Blue Hens Recognized on Academic Honor Roll

GRAND LAKE, Colo. –Delaware women's lacrosse placed five student-athletes on the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll while the team earned Academic Honor Squad recognition, as announced by the organization Monday.
Graduated seniors Becky Gohsler (Mendham, N.J./West Morris Mendham) and Sara Laudermilch (Exton, Pa./Henderson) joined rising seniors Sarah Comstock (Raleigh, N.C./Cardinal Gibbons), Maura McNutt (Millstone Township, N.J.) and Chantae Simms (Edgewood, Md./John Carroll) in being acknowledged for their work in the classroom during the 2017-18 campaign.
Gohsler (communications/advertising and business administration) and Laudermilch (exercise science) were named to the honor roll for the second time in their careers while Comstock (exercise science), McNutt (nursing) and Simms (psychology/criminal justice) earned the accolades for the first time.
Student-athletes who had a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or greater and have obtained at least junior standing academically received the honors.
The Hens were tabbed an Academic Honor Squad for the sixth straight season and were one of 103 Division I programs that registered a team GPA of 3.0 or higher last year.
