Delaware Tied for Eighth Place Following Second Round of Golfweek Program Championship

Pawleys Island, S.C. – The University of Delaware men's golf team fired a 299 score during Monday's second round of the Golfweek Program Championship and is tied for eighth place out of 14 squads.

The Blue Hens, who carded an outstanding 276 score on Sunday, have a two-round total of 575 heading into Tuesday's final round. Campbell easily leads the field with a 543 score, while Gardner-Webb sits in second place at 562.

UD junior RJ Wren, playing as an individual, shot a three under par 69 on the par 72, 6,926-yard True Blue Golf Course on Monday, moving up into a tie for 11th place with a four under par 71-69-140. Wren posted four birdies and 13 pars on the day while making just one bogey.

Christian Chapman is tied for 20th place at the tournament with a two under par 67-75-142, while Jack Melville has carded a one under par 69-74-143 and is tied for 24th place.

Matt Pulgini is tied for 30th place with an even par 71-73-144, while Roberto Nieves is tied for 46th place with a three over par 69-78-147. Andrew Jacobs, who has carded an eight over par 75-77-152, currently sits in 66th place.
