NEWARK, Del. – Despite a game-time temperature of 81 degrees and humidity in the air, Tuesday's contest had the feel of a November postseason game as No. 12 Princeton picked up the 1-0 victory over No. 11 Delaware at Fred P. Rullo Stadium.
A true defensive battle, the game featured just nine shots, including four on goal, while the lone goal came in the 58th minute.
A team that averaged 16 shots and nearly six penalty corners per game entering the day, the Blue Hens collected season-lows of three shots and two corners against the Tigers.
Redshirt senior Sydney Rhodes finished the game with two saves.

Immensely proud of our #BlueHens. The only thing that went wrong tonight was the outcome.
