The fours place fifth while the eights were ninth

PHILADELPHIA – The Delaware rowing program opened up its 2019-20 campaign Saturday with the Navy Day Regatta at Fairmount Park with six boats in the water to represent the Blue Hens.

Delaware had four boats in the fours competition and "Coco" picked up a top-five finish, timing in at 15:33.64 to finish in fifth of 37 boats. Three of the Blue Hens' four boats were inside the top-20 with "Fury" finishing 12^th and "Diamond" placing 20^th.

Two Delaware boats were in the water for the eights and "MAH" finished in14:08.39 to place ninth. "Blaze" came in 17^th of 28 boats to round out the Delaware squad.
