Delaware Concludes Fall Season With 11th Place Finish at Intercollegiate at Innisbrook

INNISBROOK, Fla. – The Delaware men's golf team fired a 306 score on Tuesday as the Blue Hens concluded their 2019 fall season with an 11th place finish at the Intercollegiate at Innisbrook.
Delaware posted 295 and 289 scores on Monday, finishing 11th out of 16 squads with an 890 total. James Madison captured the team title with an 844 score, finishing one shot ahead of Campbell.
Roberto Nieves carded a four over par 75 during his final round on the par 71, 7,209-card Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Resort, as he tied for 20th place with a three over par 71-70-75-216. Nieves was UD's low finisher during all five tournaments this fall.
Michal Bargenda tied for 48th place at the invitational with a 10 over par 75-72-76-223, while Matt Pulgini carded a 12 over par 73-73-79-225 to tie for 61st place.
Jack Melville tied for 71st place with a 16 over par 79-74-76-229, while RJ Wren finished in 82nd place with a 20 over par 76-76-81-233.
Pontus Nyholm of Campbell was the tournament medalist as he finished at nine under par to post a two-shot victory.
