Blue Hens Earn Victories Over Wagner, Penn at Match Madness

BRANCHBURG, N.J. – The Delaware women's golf team earned a pair of wins over Wagner and Penn Saturday on the first day of the Ivy League Match Madness tournament.
Playing on the par 70, 5,827-yard Fox Hollow Golf Club course, Delaware tied both schools 3-3, but earned the tiebreaker each time. The Blue Hens will take on Princeton in Sunday's championship match beginning at 8:30 a.m.
Valentina Mueller and Thitaree Sakulbunpanich each posted victories in the first match of the day against Wagner, while Mackenzie Dieter won her match by forfeit.
Mueller again won her match in the afternoon vs. Penn with a 5-4 decision, while Sakulbunpanich posted a 2 up victory. Additionally, Ariane Klotz notched a 2-1 win during her second match of the day.
