Delaware Women’s Golfers Defeat Princeton To Win Match Madness Title

BRANCHBURG, N.J. – The Delaware women's golf team defeated Princeton, 4.5 to 1.5, Sunday morning to win the Match Madness championship.
Playing on the par 70, 5,827-yard Fox Hollow Golf Club course, three Blue Hens posted victories while the other three halved their matches.
Ariane Klotz recorded a 4&3 victory over Sophie Siminoff, while Valentina Mueller notched a 3&2 win over Annie Kong. Mackenzie Dieter was the third UD player to win her match with a 1 up decision over Maya Walton.
Ashley Dingman, Sophia Dieter and Thitaree Sakulbunpanich each halved their matches on Sunday.
Delaware closes out its 2019 spring season next weekend at the Colonial Athletic Association Championship in Southport, N.C.
