Varsity Four, Third Varsity Take Home Wins At Cooper Invitational

CHERRY HILL, N.J. – On a near perfect Saturday, the University of Delaware rowing team churned out two victories en route to a solid showing at the 2019 Cooper Invitational.
Both the Varsity Four and Third Varsity boats took home victories in their finals to highlight the weekend for the Blue Hens.
Delaware's first win of the day came via the Varsity Four, who clocked in at 8:03.34 to edge out hard-charging Fordham (8:06.37) and Fairfield (8:06.46). The Blue Hens day was capped off by the Third Varsity taking home victory with a time of 7:53.76.
The second Varsity four claimed a second-place finish with a time of 8:35.25.
