Miller Earns CAA Rookie of the Week Honors

RICHMOND, Va. – The success of the University of Delaware men's lacrosse team relies heavily on exactly that, the team.
At 9-2, the Blue Hens are off to the best start since 2006 and that success is thanks in large part to the contributions of so many players throughout the spring.
This past week, it was freshman Clay Miller who's two goal, one assist performance earned him CAA Rookie of the Week accolades. He also added two ground balls in the 15-13 road win at Drexel.
It was a season-high for the youngster from Mechanicsburg, Pa., with one of his goals being a beautiful behind the back finish.
On the year, he has notched seven goals and four assists, which ranks sixth on the team.
After over a month, Miller and the Blue Hens finally return home to Delaware Stadium this weekend to host Hofstra in a crucial CAA matchup. Game time on Lax Sports Network is set for 2 p.m.
