JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – 2019 has been quite a season to remember for the University of Delaware track & field program.

Senior Ashley Bailey (pole vault), junior Michaela Meyer (800m) and sophomore Myrissa McFolling-Young (discus) all became official entries into the postseason event on Thursday afternoon.
"I'm so proud of the hard work and dedication put forth by the entire team all spring long. When you have teammates pushing each other, great things can be achieved and that's exactly what helped these three get to this point," head coach Wendy McFarlane-Smith said. "I'm excited to see what they can accomplish this week in Florida."
Bailey becomes just the seventh Blue Hen in program history to reach the NCAA Preliminary Round in back-to-back seasons. She enters next week ranked 22ndin the pole vault with a school-record mark of 13' 5 ¼".
