Delaware Defeats Quinnipiac, 7-0, For Best Start Since 2000

ELKTON, Md. – The Blue Hens improved to 6-1 on the year following Sunday's 7-0 victory over Quinnipiac at Elkton Indoor Tennis.
Delaware is off to its best start in program history since going 7-0 to open the 2000-01 campaign.
Guilherme Valdoleiros paired with Justice Jones to pick up the first doubles win of the day before James Wilkinson and Liam Hedlund captured the team point for the Hens.
Wilkinson gave UD the 2-0 advantage with his first-flight singles win while Luis Molina followed with a come-from-behind victory in the second flight for his fourth straight win of the season.
Jones clinched the victory in No. 4 singles with the 30th win of his career.
Hedlund, Valdoleiros and Milo Nagle also picked up decisions for Delaware.
