» The men's and women's swimming team started the 2021-22 season hot, defeating both UMBC and Johns Hopkins in a tri-meet on Saturday at the UMBC Aquatic Complex.

» Mira Selling highlighted the women's side, placing first in four events against both UMBC and Johns Hopkins. She completed the 1000-yard freestyle in 10:32.02, the 500-yard freestyle in 5:09.57 and the 100-yard freestyle in 51.42.

» On the men's side DJ Fechtman took first against both UMBC and Johns Hopkins in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 52.26. In the 200-yard backstroke, Gavin Currie placed first with a time of 1:51.89. In one-meter diving, Emil Vasko placed first with a score of 236.25.

» The Blue Hens return 23 student-athletes on the men's side and 24 student-athletes on the women's side. The squad also welcomes nine newcomers on the men's team and eight on the women's team.
