» The men's swimming and diving teams are coming off a 186-106 win against George Mason in the first home meet of the season, Oct. 9.

» Gavin Currie highlighted the men's side, placing first in the 100-yard Backstroke (50.76) as well as the 200-yard Backstroke (1:51.84). Andrew Taylor finished first in two events as well, placing first in the 200-yard Freestyle with a time of 1:43.56 and the 500-yard Freestyle with a time of 4:43.22.

» Miguel Vasquez, Eric Veit and Simeon Sabev also had strong days for UD. They were a part of the 200-yard Medley Relay team with Isaiah Bell that placed first with a time of 1:33.10. Additionally, Vasquez placed first in the 100-yard Freestyle (46.46), Veit placed first in the 100-yard Breaststroke (57.77) and Sabev placed first in the 200-yard Butterfly (1:51.81).

» Bryce Ciecko took first in the 1000-yard Freestyle, completing the event in 9:50.83. In the 50-yard Freestyle Ryan Polino placed first with a time of 21.61, while Evan Frick had a first-place finish in the 200-yard Breaststroke with a time of 2:06.41.

» Junior Emil Vasko of the men's diving team was named CAA Diver of the Week Oct. 12, recording a pair of first-place finishes on the 1-meter board to open the season for the Blue Hens. He posted a score of 213.3 to take first place in a meet against George Mason on Oct. 9, and also placed first in a competition against Johns Hopkins and UMBC on Oct. 2 with a score of 236.25.
