Men's Soccer Match Preview: No. 10 Seton Hall

» Delaware plays its second road game of the season on Monday when the Blue Hens take on 10th-ranked Seton Hall, which advanced to the NCAA Tournament Quarterfinals in the spring.

» Delaware opened its season with a 2-0 loss at Rutgers on Thursday. Carlos Fernandez and Zach Golden each took three shots for the Blue Hens, while Gonzalo Bartoli made four saves in goal during his UD debut.

» The Blue Hens lead the all-time series with the Pirates, 8-3-1, and have won the last five meetings between 2014-18.

» Delaware is 2-5 in school history against Top 10 ranked opponents. The Blue Hens defeated No. 7 UMBC and No. 7 William & Mary during the 2013 season. Monday's contest is UD's first against a Top 10 foe since a 3-2 double overtime loss at top-ranked Maryland on Oct. 25, 2016.

» Ian Hennessy is a 1990 graduate of Seton Hall. He still ranks second in Pirates history with 134 points and 52 goals, and is fourth with 30 assists. He was inducted into the SHU Athletics Hall of Fame in 2006.
