Blue Hens Fire Impressive -10 in Final Round of White Sands Invitational

Nassau, Bahamas – The Delaware men's golf team closed the final round of the White Sands Invitational by scoring an impressive -10.
After finishing the opening round +13, they fired a 295 (+7) to end the first two rounds at +20 on the par 72, 7,159-yard Ocean Club Golf Course on Paradise Island in Nassau and followed with a round of -10 to remain in 12th, but finish +10 for the whole invitational.
Sparky Ariyachatvakin, who led the way for the Blue Hens during the entire invitational, tied a career low round of 67 and finished the final round with a -5. He tied for 11th overall, scoring 71-72-67-210, finishing -6. Casper Nerpin tied for 37th overall by scoring a 69 in the final round, good for -3 after scoring a pair of 74s in the first two rounds. Egor Zubov also scored a 69 in the final round, joining the other two to remain below par in the final frame.
Duke took home the win in the invitational, scoring a tremendous -41 throughout. Southern Miss' Ryan Dupuy earned the best individual score, finishing -12.
This closes the Blue Hens' fall season as they gear up for the spring schedule.
