• Tonight's contest is Delaware's eighth in a conference championship game. The Blue Hens have won five of their previous seven league title games.
• Delaware is making its second CAA Championship game appearance, along with the 2014 squad which defeated William & Mary, 75-74, in the final in Baltimore, Md.
• A win would give the Blue Hens their sixth conference tournament title, along with 1992 (NAC), 1993 (NAC), 1998 (America East), 1999 (America East) and 2014 (CAA).
• Delaware has become just the second five seed to advance to the CAA Tournament final in the league's 40 years. Fifth-seeded William & Mary advanced to the 2008 final before falling to third-seeded George Mason, 68-59.
• The Blue Hens' 21 wins are the seventh most in a UD single season.
• Delaware has held its first two CAA Tournament opponents to just 56 points. Towson's 31.0 field goal percentage was its lowest of the season, while both the Dragons and Tigers went 4 of 23 from three-point range.
• UNCW leads the all-time series with Delaware, 25-18, and the Seahawks swept the regular season series this year.
• UNCW has won all five CAA Tournament meetings with Delaware, although the teams have met just once in the postseason since 2008.
