» The Blue Hens (4-9, 1-2 CAA) defeated William & Mary, 13-11, Saturday to earn their first CAA win of the season. Delaware scored seven-straight goals against W&M starting with Sam Schelling's first career goal in the second period through the beginning of the fourth quarter.

» Danika Swech led the Blue Hen's offense against the Tribe with a career-high six points (4g, 2a). Goalkeeper Mercy McCarthy had her third-straight game with 10 or more saves, making 12 stops in the cage while boasting a .522 save percentage.

» Sophomore Riley Gillin leads Delaware with 34 points (13g, 21a) with her 1.62 assists per game ranking third in the CAA. Freshman Delaney McDaniel stands second on the team with 31 points (9g, 22a) and is currently second in the CAA with 1.69 assists per game.

» Elon (5-8, 1-2 CAA) is coming of an 18-2 loss at No. 12 James Madison Saturday. Bridget Kelly and Cate Mackel each scored in the loss.

» Gillian Curran leads the Phoenix with 42 points on 27 goals and 15 assists. She ranks ninth in the CAA in goals per game (2.08), sixth in assists per game (1.15) and fifth in points per game (3.23).

» Saturday marks the seventh all-time meeting between the teams, with Elon holding a 4-2 all-time record against Delaware. In the teams' last meeting, the Blue Hens defeated the Phoenix, 12-11, at Delaware Stadium in 2020.
