No. 24 Field Hockey Returns Home for Pair of Non-Conference Matches

NEWARK, Del. – No. 24 Delaware field hockey (1-3) returns to Fred R. Rullo Stadium for a pair of non-conference matches against No. 10 UConn on Friday at 5 p.m., followed by No. 8 Penn State on Sunday at noon.

- UD is coming off a pair of losses to No. 21 American (2-1) and Monmouth (3-2, OT) this past weekend.
- Kiki Oudshoorn leads the Blue Hens in points (four) and assists (two).
- In four starts, Lizzie Gaebel has a .667 save percentage and a 2.52 goals against average.
- Friday marks the 15th all-time meeting between the Huskies and Blue Hens. The last time the Huskies played at Fred P. Rullo stadium was back on September 24, 2017, where they won the match 1-0.
- Sunday is the 26th all-time match between the Blue Hens and Nittany Lions. The last time PSU played in Newark was on September 8, 2019. The Blue Hens defeated the Nittany Lions 3-1 in the match.
