Monath Recognized by College Soccer News

NEWARK, Del. – University of Delaware men's soccer midfielder Richard Monath has been named to the Men's National Team of the Week by College Soccer News.
The freshman from Essex, MD, recorded a goal and assist in each of last week's contests. Monath assisted the first goal and scored the game-winner in the 78th minute of Delaware's 2-1 victory over NJIT in its first ever matchup against the Highlanders. Monath scored the first goal of the match and assisted the game-winner in the 64th minute in the Hens' 2-1 defeat of the #18 ranked Hofstra Pride.
Monath and the Blue Hens look to keep the same energy in preparation for Saturday's match at UNCW.
