Fernandez Named CAA Co-Offensive Player of the Week

RICHMOND, Va. – University of Delaware men's soccer forward Carlos Fernandez has been named the CAA Co-Offensive Player of the Week after his performances against George Mason and Charleston, the league announced Monday.
The senior from A Coruña, Spain, recorded three points on a goal and assist in a 1-1 week for the Blue Hens. Fernandez assisted the lone goal for the Blue Hens against George Mason and scored the game-winner in Delaware's 2-1 victory over Charleston that secured the team a spot in postseason play for the first time since 2019.
Delaware will face Drexel on Thursday in the first round of conference playoffs.
