Women’s Lacrosse Signs 12 to National Letters of Intent

NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware women's lacrosse team signed 12 to National Letters of Intent (NLI), head coach Amy Altig announced Monday. The 12 newcomers for the Class of 2028 come to Newark from seven different states.
"The 2024 class is one of our largest classes in size and will be just as impactful in what each of them will bring to our program," Altig said. "A class full of high character, strong academic achievements, and incredibly talented on the field in all positions. This group of 12 extraordinary young women exhibits grit, poise, hard work, and a competitive spirit that will fit in seamlessly with the current culture our Hens have created. We are thrilled to welcome this newest flock of Blue Hens to Newark, and we are excited to see the successes this group will have as individuals and as a class."
