NEWARK, Del. - The Delaware men's swimming & diving team will compete in the 2023 CAA Conference Championship at the Hampton Aquaplex in Hampton, Va. on Feb. 22-25th. Delaware went 9-0 in dual meets this season, including wins over CAA foes William & Mary, Drexel, and Towson.

2022 CAA Championship Recap:
Delaware finished in second place at last year's conference championship, scoring 643 points. Gavin Currie won the 200 back, while Toni Sabev and Philip Townsend won silver medals in the 100-breast and 3-meter dive. Simeon Sabev, Andrew Taylor, DJ Fechtman, Simeon Sabev, Miguel Vasquez, Luke Rautzhan, Ryan Polino, and Bryce Ciecko all received bronze medals.

Siegfried was named CAA Rookie Diver of the Month on Dec. 6.
Siegfried was named CAA Diver of the Week on Oct. 11, Oct. 25, Nov. 8, Dec. 6 and Feb. 7.
Taylor was named CAA Swimmer of the Week on Feb. 7.
Smolders was named CAA Swimmer of the Week on Nov. 8.
Currie was named CAA Swimmer of the Week and Townsend was named CAA Diver of the Week on Nov. 15.
