Men’s Golf Tied for First After One Round of Golfweek/AGT Intercollegiate

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Thanks to three below-par rounds, Delaware men's golf is tied for first heading into the second round of the Golfweek/AGT Intercollegiate.
The Hens are tied with Valparaiso with a team score of 285, finishing the first round three under par.
Sparky Ariyachatvakin finished the first frame at 70 (minus-2) to tie for fifth among all scorers on the par-72, 6,989-yard Pawleys Island Course.
Xiong Da and Michal Bargenda each recorded a 71 (minus-1) in the first round, while Egor Zubov also fired a 71 (minus-1) to pace the individual field.
Delaware's 15 birdies place it sixth among all teams.
Round two is underway.
