Halleron’s Strong Second Round Keeps Men’s Golf in Sixth at CAA Championship

BEAUFORT, S.C. – Thanks to Jack Halleron firing a 69 (minus-3) in the second round, Delaware remains in sixth place at the CAA Championship.
The Blue Hens fired a 291 in the second round after a first-round 300, placing six strokes behind fifth-place Elon.
Halleron's 69 was the best individual score in the second frame among Blue Hens, as he is tied for ninth among all scorers. His eight birdies are tied for fourth, seven of which came in the second round.
Sparky Ariyachatvakin's seven birdies are tied for fifth, while Casper Nerpin also chipped in six.
The third and final round will begin Tuesday morning.
