No. 13/14/15 Men's Lacrosse Concludes Regular Season at Towson

NEWARK, Del. – No. 13/14/15 Delaware men's lacrosse is set to compete in its final Colonial Athletic Association regular season game against Towson on Saturday, April 29 at Johnny Unatis Stadium.

- The Blue Hens enter the weekend 10-3 and 6-0 in conference play. They are currently on a five-game winning streak.
- With a win on Saturday, the Blue Hens will be undefeated in conference play for the first time in 1998, and the first time in CAA history.
- The Blue Hens clinched the CAA Regular Season Title and will host the CAA Championships at Delaware Stadium from May 4-6.
- The Blue Hens are led by Tye Kurtz and JP Ward
- Kurtz is third in the country in points with 68, and tied for third in goals with 46. Ward is tied for second in the country in assists with 37, and tied for seventh in points with 63. Ward and Kurtz are also first and second in the conference in assists.
- Defensively, the Blue Hens are led by Owen Grant and Matt Kilkeary. Grant is tied for fifth in the country in caused turnovers with 30. He is six caused turnovers away from breaking his own program record for caused turnovers in a season. His current record stands at 35 caused turnovers. Matt Kilkeary is third in the country in goals against average at 8.83, and 11th in save percentage at .541.
- As a team, the Blue Hens are second in the country in scoring margin at + 6.15, third in goals allowed per game at 8.85, sixth in points per game at 23.69, tied for sixth in winning percentage at .769, seventh in goals per game at 15.00, and eighth in offensive turnovers at 14.38.
- Towson enters Saturday's game 5-8 overall, and 4-2 in conference.
- After starting conference play 1-2, the Tigers have won their last three conference games.
- The Tigers are coming off a 15-11 victory over Monmouth on the road.
- Offensively, the Tigers are led Nick Demaio. He is second on the roster in goals (24), first in assists (20), and points (44). Kyle Berkeley leads the Tigers in goals with 25.
- Defensively, Colby Barsz leads the Tigers in caused turnovers with 14. He is one of three players on the Tigers roster, along with Reece Potter (13), and Garrett Zungailia (12).
- Evan Long has appeared and started in all 12 games for the Tigers this season. He boasts a 5-7 record, a 10.63 goals against average, and a .523 save percentage. He ranks second in the CAA in save percentage, and third in goals against average.
- The semifinals of the CAA Championships start next Thursday. The Blue Hens have clinched the number one seed, and will plat at 5:30 p.m. The opponent will be announced following the conclusion of Saturday's game.
