CAA Announces Men’s Basketball Schedule

RICHMOND, Va. – The Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) released its men's basketball schedule on Tuesday. Teams will play an 18-game conference schedule against all 13 league foes that features five repeat opponents, four home-only opponents and four away-only opponents. In total, each team will play nine home games and nine road games.
Conference play begins on January 4 when Hampton visits the Bob Carpenter Center. Two days later, the Hens head to Long Island for a matchup against Hofstra.
The following week, UD heads south to North Carolina for games against league newcomer Campbell (1/11) and UNCW (1/13).
Stony Brook makes the trip to Newark for a January 18 battle before the Hens head to Philadelphia to take on Drexel.
Three of the next four are at home as North Carolina A&T and former Blue Hens' head coach Monte Ross come to the First State on January 25. Long-time rival Towson follows suit two days later.
William & Mary is the lone road contest in that four-game stretch to begin February on the first. Monmouth then makes its first trip to the Bob as a member of the CAA.
A short trip to Towson is next up on February 8 before a rematch with the Tribe on February 10.
Delaware finishes its tour of North Carolina with a contest at Elon (2/15) and a rematch with Ross' Aggies (2/17).
Three-straight home games round out February with Charleston (2/22), Drexel (2/26), and Northeastern (2/29) joining the fun in Newark.
The regular-season finale comes on March 2 with a trip to Stony Brook.
