Men’s Basketball Hosts Delaware State

NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware men's basketball team (4-3) hosts its first game in two weeks, facing the Delaware State Hornets (3-5) on Tuesday night at 6:30 p.m. inside the Bob Carpenter Center.

ABOUT THE HENS

Delaware enters Tuesday on a two-game winning streak, having taken down Yale and Rider.
The Blue Hens rank 10th in the nation and second in the CAA in free throw percentage, shooting 80.7 percent as a team.
John Camden leads the team in scoring, averaging 17.7 points per game which is fourth in the CAA. He is second in the league and is 31st nationally in three-point field-goal percentage. Among his fellow forwards, Camden's percentage from beyond the arc ranks sixth in the country.
Cavan Reilly (14.1), Niels Lane (12.3), Izaiah Pasha (11.0), and Erik Timko (10.9) are also scoring in double figures on average.

ABOUT THE HORNETS

Delaware State is coming off a 22-point loss at Texas on Friday.
Head coach Stan Waterman is in his fourth season at the helm of the Hornets. Waterman is a UD alum, playing on the men's basketball team from 1984-89.
The Hornets crash the glass, grabbing 14.8 offensive boards per game, which places them 18th nationally.
Senior guard Martaz Robinson leads Delaware State in scoring, averaging 16.4 points per game.

Delaware holds an 18-5 edge over its in-state rivals.
