Stenner Earns Spot on TopDrawerSoccer Postseason Lists

LONG BEACH, Calif. -Â The University of Delaware men's soccer rookie, Marius Stenner, continues his accolade collection after being named no. 21 on the TopDrawerSoccer Men's Freshman Top 100 Postseason rankings and to the Freshmen Best XI Second-Team.
Stenner is the only CAA rookie to have earned a spot on TopDrawerSoccer's postseason team rosters. He is joined on the Top 100 rankings by a William & Mary forward at no. 65, UNC Wilmington midfielder at no. 74, Monmouth forward at no. 79, and a Northeastern defender at no. 97.
TopDrawerSoccer ranked Stenner at no. 14 on their Men's Midseason Top 100 Freshmen list in October. His placement on the midseason rankings was the highest in the CAA, with the next conference opponent sitting at no. 33.
Freshmen from Ohio State, Clemson, Seattle, UConn, Georgia Southern, Wisconsin, Cornell, Western Michigan, and Indiana all sit on the second-team alongside Stenner. At 23 points of nine goals and five assists over sixteen matches, Stenner leads the second-team in all three categories.Â
The other two forwards on the list– Wahabu Musah of Clemson and David Ajagbe of Ohio State, both posted only sixteen points on the entire year with Clemson playing 21 matches and Ohio State playing 22 matches.
