Davis Named CAA Player of the Week for Second Time This Season

RICHMOND, Va. – University of Delaware forward Jyáre Davis has been named CAA Player of the Week for the second time this season after his performances at Towson and vs. William & Mary, the league announced Monday.
Davis averaged 18.0 points, 12.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.5 blocks in a 2-0 week for Delaware with wins at Towson and vs. William & Mary. He recorded his second and third straight double-doubles.
The Newark, Delaware native led the way against Towson on Thursday with a game-high 15 boards. He added 15 points and tied his career mark of three blocks.
In the rematch with the Tribe, the senior tallied a game-high 21 points and brought in 10 rebounds.
Davis and the Blue Hens return to action at Elon on Thursday.
